| Blunging is the process of producing casting slip from plastic or powdered clay.. This model uses two paddles which rotate at 150rpm approximately on a stainless steel shaft. | The Slip Pump is a highly versatile method of slip dispensing for both studio and hobby ceramics. The pump uses a rotaryvaned design capable of giving a good, even flow. The pump also has an agitating effect to maintain the slip is usable conditions for short periods. A syphoning action can also be used to aid the draining of moulds. |

| This is a self contained pilot plant ideally cuited for the small studio or college workshop. It can be connected to a slipcasting system or filter press for the production of clay. The Pilot Plant consists of a 25 gallon blunger driven by a motor and reduction gearbox via a stainless steel shaft. The loading shute is made from polypropylene and all parts that can become wet are manufactured in non-corrosive materials. The blunger feeds a polypropylene storage arcthrough a vibratory sifter.. The storage arc is fitted with a stainless steel gate paddle, which is driven by a slow speed motor and reduction gearbox.. As standard the unit is fitted with a double diaphragm air pump, which is suited to the slip casting process. |
